One of the most beautiful fairy tales about the power of friendship, love and courage will come to life for the first time on ice in a unique performance. The musical The Snow Queen, inspired by the immortal fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen, has been performed for many years with great success on leading theater stages. This time, viewers can look forward to a spectacle that connects the world of music, dance and figure skating with breathtaking performances by the greatest masters of movement on ice. The whole thing will be crowned by a unique stage, light show and a series of film projections.

The script based on the fairy tale was written by Jan and Alena Pix, the lyrics were composed by Kristýna Pixová and Ondřej Suchý. The songs in this musical will be sung by leading singers of our music scene.

The music was composed by the successful composer and producer Zdeněk Barták, known for his sense of melody and dramatic charge. The result is beautiful, pleasant music that immediately draws the audience into the story.

The costumes that will play an important role in the story were designed by leading designer Roman Šolc. You can look forward to impressive ice dresses, dreamy costumes of fairies and dark robes of the forces of evil.

The story will be told not only through movement on the ice, but also through songs and acting performances that will draw the audience into the familiar and newly conceived world of the Snow Queen. A story full of emotions, tension, but also hope awaits us. Just as Andersen himself once intended it.

The musical The Ice Queen promises a family experience that will delight young and old audiences, and from which they will take away the best experience.

The performance, which is based on the musical "The Snow Queen", will also be a tribute to the memory of the great warrior and friend of the artists who played with her in this musical for years, Anna Julia Slováčková. Anička loved the musical along with her role and literally excelled in it.
