In 2026, Ostrava will host its 12th edition of Czech Music Crossroads. The concert program will now take place completely open-air on two outdoor stages, where Czech Music Crossroads will traditionally be combined with the atmosphere of Ostrava's popular street art festival, Art and life (Festival v ulicích).

In addition to the traditional participation of artists from the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia, this year's program will focus on Japan, whose music scene will offer inspiring and surprising perspectives on contemporary world music. The program will also be supplemented by several "wild cards" - exceptional projects that the program organizers discovered during their musical travels around the world.
