The 11th annual festival that connects science, technology, music and entertainment for all generations

The afternoon program from 2 PM is open to the general public and will offer workshops, science and technology demonstrations, games and activities for children and adults. The festival will also include a small gastrofestival prepared by the university canteen.

The VŠB-TUO Orchestra and the BACKAWARDS and GETAWAY bands will perform on the main stage. Visitors can look forward to a musical program, interactive zones and the atmosphere of the university campus in an unconventional form.

The Art & Science Festival is an ideal opportunity to enjoy a day full of music, inspiration, science and meetings right in the heart of Ostrava's Poruba. It symbolically closes the summer of events that connect the university, the city and the general public.

The Art & Science Festival has been organized by VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava since 2015. Every year it presents the university as a place where technology, creativity, research and art are interconnected. The program combines professional and cultural activities and shows that science can be inspiring, playful and open to everyone.
