A unique fusion of the absolute tops of the Czech and Slovak scene with a cross-section of the best of Dan Bárta & Illustratosphere's work

A unique concert by Dan Bárta & Illustratosphere (eleven-time winner of the Anděl Award in the categories Singer of the Year and Singer of the Quarter Century), on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the release of their debut eponymous album! The standard lineup of the Illustratosphere group will be specially expanded by the duo Lash & Grey with singer Kristína Mihaľová, rising stars on the Czech and Slovak music scene.

Dan Bárta became widely known in the nineties with the band Alice and his performance in Jesus Christ Superstar musical. He also became an integral part of the well-known band called J.A.R. His wide musical outlook was used from the danceable Sexy Dancers to popular songs from films (including Snowborďáci, Rafťáci, Horem pádem) to jazz associated with, for example, the Robert Balzar trio.

He left his mark on a number of other domestic music projects and performed with the greats of the world music scene (e.g. with the phenomenal singer Bobby McFerrin or with Sting's court guitarist Dominic Miller).

In 2000, Dan Bárta surprised fans with his own group Illustratosphere, with which he has released five regular albums and one live double album. Over the past two years, Lash & Grey have performed on prestigious stages, including Carnegie Hall in New York, festivals in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Paris, completed three concert tours in Italy and also performed in Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and on the French ARTE TV broadcast.

The duo Lash & Grey has performed in a total of 14 countries. In 2022, Kristína was the only European to make it into the TOP 5 singers from around the world in the prestigious Sarah Vaughan Jazz Vocal Competition in New Jersey.

The duo has also won numerous awards, including the Anděl Award for Best Slovak Album "Blossom Of Your World", the Slovak RadioHead Award for Best Debut Album "Sleepin' With The Lights On" and also for the 2021 single "After War". The American magazine Jazziz describes their music as an extraordinary experience.
