A musical-literary project that draws inspiration from the work of writer Franz Kafka and transforms it into an alternative-rock form.

The authors of the cult comic book Alois Nebel, writer Jaroslav Rudiš and artist and musician Jaromír 99 have come together to collaborate. Together with them, the band features guitarist and producer Dušan Neuwerth and other musicians: Tomáš Neuwerth, Lukáš Morávek, Zdeněk Jurčík and Petr Weiser.

The Kafka Band has recorded three successful albums inspired by novel fragments by Franz Kafka. In the fall, they are going on tour, during which they will present a selection from all the albums: Das Schloss – Castle, Amerika and Der Process – The Process. The lyrics of the songs are based directly on the work of Franz Kafka. You can look forward to a long, dark and danceable Kafka party!
