Every last Tuesday of the month there will be a concert of young artists who will play a rare Steinway from 1902.

Recital by Jakub Danys – a talented pianist and a native of Ostrava, who is currently a student at HAMU in Prague. The program across the centuries will include compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Sergei Rachmaninoff.

A story about the piano: 

The grand piano, which was made by the legendary American company Steinway & Sons, belongs to the real treasures in the Poklad cultural centre. Our Steinway piano was manufactured in 1902, and this year marks a respectable 123 years since its making. In addition to the Piano Tuesdays concert series in Poklad, our supporters and visitors can also look forward to other cultural events in which this beautiful historic piano will be used across musical genres.
