The acoustic trio Prokop, Andršt, Hrubý has been playing since 1987 as a loose association of three prominent figures on the Czech music scene. As a result of the unexpected loss of Luboš Andršt in 2021, the remaining members nevertheless decided to continue their activities. At that time, they invited guitarist Pavel Marcel, the former producer of the more recent albums by Michal Prokop & Framus Five, to cooperate. There was no doubt about Marcel's talent and that he could worthily represent the genius of one of the best Czech guitarists, Luboš Andršt. They therefore continued the activities of the original Trio, but with the personnel, the repertoire also partially changed. It can therefore be said that the Trio has taken on a new dimension with Pavel.

To the rhythm of Michal Prokop's guitar and singing, Hrubý and Marcel take turns in solos, showing their extraordinary skill. Every listener will find something for themselves here. You will hear blues, rock, pop and elements of jazz. And believe me, at some points, you will literally get goosebumps.

As die-hard fans and regular visitors to Michal Prokop's concerts already know, this is not an acoustic version of the Framus Five program. It is a completely separate program. However, the repertoire does not lack some notorious gems such as Blues o spolykaných slovech (or Čmeláčci).

Given the planned new album by the Framus Five band, which should be released next year, we can look forward to hearing some completely unknown gems, not only at the Framus Five concerts, but perhaps also in an acoustic version performed by the Trio.
