Vojtěch Dyk is one of the most prominent Czech artists of our time. His musical expression crosses the boundaries of genres – he easily moves between jazz, swing, pop, rock and classical music. Thanks to his extraordinary vocal range, distinctive expression and natural charisma, he has won a wide audience not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad.

His performance with the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava will bring a unique combination of popular music and symphonic arrangements. The audience can look forward to Dyk's interpretation of compositions by Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin and Czech classics such as Karel Svoboda or Petr Novák. In each of them, the singer fully develops his musicality, sense of detail and ability to transform emotions into a unique musical experience.
