The biggest athletic experience of 2025 in the Czech Republic - 64. Zlatá tretra Ostrava

The Ostrava meet has been one of the top competitions in world athletics for decades. Points gained in World Athletics Continental Tour GOLD competitions are extremely valuable in the fight for nominations to the World Championships in Tokyo in September. In 2024, at a sold-out Mondo Duplantis Stadium in the wind and rain, Sedjati and Caudery attacked the world record, Sedjati and Caudery delivered the performances of the year and the TV signal reached 140 countries. The stadium audience witnessed 2 world best performances, 4 European best performances, 2 meet records, 3 national records, 19 personal bests and 25 Olympic qualifiers.

Spectators can look forward to men's and women's pole vault, javelin competitions, throwing events and of course sprints as well as middle and long distance events.
