Sights and Architecture

The building from 1897 was formerly the Přívoz town hall. Since 1960, it has been the seat of the city archives. The two-storey building in the Neo-Baroque style was built according to the project by the Viennese architect of Italian origin Camillo Sitte. In the years 1993-1996 it was modernly rebuilt according to the project by M. Dybowicz. It was registered in the state list of national monuments before 1988 and it has been a monument since 3 May 1958.
